“I choose Champion by Küschall”: Italian Paralympian Manuel Bortuzzo chooses Küschall

We are proud to announce that Italian Paralympic medallist, TV personality and motivational figure Manuel Bortuzzo has chosen Champion as his wheelchair of choice.

Manuel who is known worldwide for his resilience and passion chose Champion by Küschall after being impressed by its practical, compact and high-quality design aligning with his active and inspiring lifestyle.

Following his spinal injury in 2019, Manuel has focused on pushing the boundaries of what is possible, with a spirit of perseverance and dedication. With his true of mentality of championing every challenge and positivity, Manuel underwent rehabilitation and training to continue his love of competitive swimming. Earlier this year Manuel competed in the 2024 Paralympic games in Paris, achieving a bronze medal in the 100m breaststroke SB4.

25-year-old Manuel from Rome in Italy said: “With the Kuschall Champion, I immediately felt seen - thanks to its very minimalistic design. It allows me to easily carry it, put it in my car and move around. I love that it also reflects my character a lot - its high performance makes it an exciting chair.
