Combining strength and flexibility, the Concept model is the first wheelchair prototype built from Graphene, the toughest aerospace material possible. 200x stronger than steel, 10x tougher than diamond and still incredibly flexible. With an ultra-light single layer of carbon atoms that are extremely tough and provide a high mechanical resistance and durability.

A staggering 50 – 70% of wheelchair users will sustain injuries to their upper limbs as a result of prolonged wheelchair use and the effects this has on the upper extremities. The Concept model Superstar was focused on developing the ideal geometries, to allow the wheels to be positioned closer to the user, increasing efficiency and reducing the risk of strain or injury to the upper body.
