RULES REDEFINED

The Concept model Superstar has been developed around pioneering aerospace materials and technologies. In collaboration with Formula 1 manufacturers, we have significantly increased our knowledge on such materials which will have a direct and positive impact on how we design wheelchair frames of the future.

SPACE AGE MATERIALS

Combining strength and flexibility, the Concept model is the first wheelchair prototype built from Graphene, the toughest aerospace material possible. 200x stronger than steel, 10x tougher than diamond and still incredibly flexible. With an ultra-light single layer of carbon atoms that are extremely tough and provide a high mechanical resistance and durability.

CUTTING EDGE TECHNOLOGY

Benefiting from the revolutionary findings delivered during the concept model study, the future Küschall portfolio looks exceptional and is set to transform the market with its incredible propelling efficiency. Innovative geometries and the latest technology will enable the Kuschall range to set a new performance standard and lead the way in a new era of wheelchair development.

DIRECT DRIVE

A staggering 50 – 70% of wheelchair users will sustain injuries to their upper limbs as a result of prolonged wheelchair use and the effects this has on the upper extremities. The Concept model Superstar was focused on developing the ideal geometries, to allow the wheels to be positioned closer to the user, increasing efficiency and reducing the risk of strain or injury to the upper body.
